Choose a state on the map to see its districts by county. People counts are American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates for everyone living in a district, not enrollment.
Unified, elementary and secondary districts
A unified district teaches every grade. Where a state splits them, an elementary district teaches the lower grades and a secondary district the high school grades over the same land, so one address can be in both. Vermont’s administrative areas group its town districts. The boundaries are the ones states report to the Census Bureau each year; a boundary doesn’t decide which school a student attends.
